On January 9th, 2020 we will be relaunching our ministry to children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, called Powered Up!
Powered Up! meets on Thursdays from 5:30pm - 7:30pm for ten weeks in the fall and then again in the winter/spring. The last week for the fall session will be March 12th, 2020.
Powered Up is a ministry that seeks to be blessing to young families and single parent families in the Murrysville and surrounding area, providing a safe place for their children to experience the love, grace, and mercy of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ, through fun, bible-centered teaching, a warm and welcoming meal, inspired creativity, and charitable play.
At Powered Up children will experience meaningful time with other children their age, godly adults who care for them, and our loving God as they encounter the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Children are divided into three age groups, Kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade, with each group rotating through our four Power Stations:
Soul Fuel Station - Is where children get to learn about God's Word from the Bible, sing fun worship songs, and memorize scripture!
Body Fuel Station - Is where children get to eat a delicious meal provided by our amazing kitchen crew, the creators of the award-winning Chicken Boats!
Creation Station - Is where children get to make a craft related to the season of the year we are in, upcoming holidays, and especially what they are learning at the Soul Fuel Station.
Recreation Station - Is where children, with their fuel tanks full from delicious food, learning, and singing, get to have a blast playing active games that put to use what they learning about loving God and loving their neighbor.
