Spring Sunday School!
1 Corinthians | To a proud and prosperous church, the Apostle Paul writes a stern reminder: Take your eyes off impressive externals and instead practice purity, humility, and love. His practical instructions concerning factions, sexuality, spiritual gifts, and worship remain profoundly relevant for believers pursuing genuine spiritual maturity. The lessons of 1 Corinthians deal with doctrine, grace, joy, and love. Meets in the Gathering Space. Continues through the summer.
Knowing the Faith: Reformed Theology from the Westminster Confession of Faith | We are blessed in the Presbyterian tradition to have the Reformed Faith summarized for us in the biblically-saturated words of the Westminster Standards – the Confession, Larger, and Shorter Catechisms. But, these wonderful resources do little good if they remain unknown by the community of believers. Pastor Eric will be facilitating a study of the Westminster Confession of Faith to help all who are interested (and especially any interested in serving as elders and deacons) to plumb the theological depths of this great summary of Biblical doctrine. Please come as we explore the treasures of the Reformed Faith together from 10:30 to 11:00am in the Fellowship Room. Continues through the summer.
RAD women’s ministry will be adding the following summer class.
Face to Face with Jesus | The Gospels describe a number of encounters of first-century Jews and Gentiles with Jesus Christ. From the encounter with Nathaniel to the encounter with Pontius Pilate, the writers of the Gospels describe the varying reactions of people to this One who claimed the authority of God Himself. In Face to Face with Jesus, Dr. R.C. Sproul looks at what Scripture reveals about the character of Jesus through His encounters with specific men and women. Join the women of RAD for this DVD-based class. Each lesson stands alone. Attend one or all! There’s no prep or homework! Class begins June 11 at 9:00am in the Fellowship Room.
