A word to the men about the Love and Respect Conference

Posted 01.26.2011

I’m a guy. And though I’ve gone on record as liking candles, wear an occasional sweater, and sometimes watch What Not to Wear with my wife, I’m not a Beta Male. I shoot and eat animals. I watch football from my couch. I change my own oil. I once shot a man, just to watch him bleed. OK, that’s not true, but hopefully my gratuitous use of male stereotypes makes a singular point: I’m a man.

And, as a man, I’m not one for attending conferences about relationships. Hours of discussing feelings, hopes, and the necessity of cuddling is about as appealing as watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Beaches back-to-back in a Snuggie.

Ew.

Thankfully, our upcoming Love and Respect Conference at MCC is nothing like that. Trust me. Trust one of the coordinators, another God-fearin’, America-lovin’, deer-huntin’, and oil-changin’ guy named, Jamie. It is great, for the gals and the guys.

At the conference, you’ll learn what makes men tick; what makes women tick; and what makes a great relationship tick. It’s good stuff – engaging, fun, and maybe even life-changing. It's secured and salvaged more than one relationship, that's for sure.

Don’t miss it!

Also, it’s on the weekend leading up to Valentine’s Day. Why not invest a bit of time in the relationship that you’ll celebrate just a few days later? Click here to register.
