Kevin Labby
Senior PastorPastor Kevin Labby is a graduate of Grove City College (BA, Political Science), the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and the Department of Leadership Studies at Geneva College (MS, Organizational Leadership). He is presently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He joined the team at Murrysville Community Church in 2004. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hanging out with his family, spending time outdoors, and watching the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Nate Keisel
Director of Member and Guest CareNate Keisel studied Social Work at the Community College of Allegheny County while ministering at Teen Challenge, a Christian drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. He is now entering his third year at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, working towards his Masters of Divinity (MDiv), and he is under care of the Pittsburgh Presbytery of the PCA.
Nate enjoys camping, playing basketball and football, and taking walks with his wife Amber at Duff Park.
Patrick Hardwig
Director of Youth MinistriesAfter serving as a youth ministries intern at MCC for two years, Patrick Hardwig joined the staff as Director of Youth Ministries. A graduate of Geneva College (BA, Student Ministry), Patrick grew up in North Huntingdon, PA, and is currently working toward his Master of Divinity (MDiv) at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS).
In his somewhat limited spare time, Patrick enjoys snow boarding and mountain biking with his friends. He and his wife Bethany live in East Liberty, PA.
Nicole Mickey
Director of Children's MinistriesNicole Mickey is a graduate of The Indiana University of Pennsylvania (B.S., Elementary Education; M.Ed., Teacher Leadership Program). Prior to joining the staff of Murrysville Community Church, Nicole enjoyed teaching in both public and private school settings. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, completing projects around the house, and is an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Nicole and her husband Jimmy are enjoying parenthood and spending time with their son, Eli.
Mel Armstrong
Administrative AssistantMel Armstrong has faithfully served Murrysville Community Church in her present capacity for over five years. En route to her present vocation, Mel attended Geneva College, majoring in psychology. She is an active member of the surrounding community, having served in many civic organizations.
Jane Ahlstrom
Accounts PayableJane Ahlstrom works as a staff member, managing our church accounts in close relationship with our board of Deacons. Another active member of the Murrysville community, Jane and her husband have three children.
Tom Laird
Christian CounselorNOTE: Although not a staff member of Murrysville Community Church, Tom Laird offers independent Christian counseling services through our church by appointment.
Tom Laird received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating, he worked for six years on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ at The University of Wisconsin In Madison. In 1991, he received his Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Since then, he has provided Christian Counseling out of Allegheny Center Alliance Church on the North Side and from The First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport. Tom and his wife Jeanne have four children.
